PROOF OF MOM 📸✨

I heard someone say once that their childhood is also our motherhood and gosh, did that hit. 12 years into this motherhood journey and if there’s one thing I’m grateful for, it’s the photos and videos of this life so far.

But as moms, we’re quick to capture the magic and the moments from behind our lens. Truth is, we are on a journey of mothering as much as our babies are on a journey of growing, so let’s capture both ❤️

Let’s be bold enough to let ourselves be in the memories too. Because our babies will look back one day and cherish their proof of mom 🥹🫶🏻

To the girl whose next year is full of unknowns, I see you ❤️

In a season full of so much joy and dreams coming true, your future may be shaky and you may have more questions than answers. Boy, I wish I could hug you and whisper this one thing in your ear:

You’re about to be so proud.

You won’t always know the right next steps, and some days you’ll feel like you’re just taking it one hour at a time. But here’s what I DO know...you WILL do it. Even on the days where you don’t think you can. Because that’s when God takes over.

A year ago this week I was rocking a newborn baby, desperately trying to keep up with the holiday magic for my other two boys, and walking through the ashes of my marriage ending. I spent New Year’s on my knees in tears asking God to grant me every bit of strength I could muster for just one more day. And then the next, and then the next.

You’ll do something hard each day, and each time it will become a little less scary. And then you’ll do it again tomorrow, and soon, you’ll smile again and be ready to try the next hard thing. And a year later, you’ll look back, this time with tears of joy in your eyes declaring WON’T HE DO IT. 🥹

Oh friend, what God can do in a year.

Don’t stop. Just do one day, one decision, one hard thing at a time. You’re about to find out just how capable you were created to be.

The holidays and end of the year kind of magnify p

The holidays and end of the year kind of magnify places where we’re hurting a little bit, doesn’t it? Like a magnifying glass for unmet expectations or parts of our life that haven’t turned out the way we thought it would.

But friend, if it’s not good, HE’S NOT DONE 🙌🏻

While the year might be coming to an end a new one on it’s way, that’ doesn’t mean God’s done yet. Romans 8:28 gives us the promise that He’s working every little detail for our good, even when we can’t see it.

He’s not done with your story yet. And in the season of hope and promises, I just wanted to be the one to remind you of that ❤️ xoxo
